Ambassador of the Week: Mika Toronen

Meet Mika Toronen, this week’s top American Watercolor Weekly Ambassador!

Born 1968 in Tampere, Finland, Mika Torone studied at the Julian Ashton Art School, in Sydney, Australia.

He has had paintings exhibited in Australia, China, Finland, Italy, Lithuania, Russia, The Republic of Belarus, Serbia and Sweden.

His works are in a number of collections: Nordic Watercolor Museum (Sweden), Helsinki university, HAM, City of Helsinki, -Turku, -Heinola, Nordea Bank, OP-Bank and many other public and private collections in all over the world

He has organized and taught watercolor workshops throughout Europe and is a member of the Finnish Painters Union and many local art societies in Finland.
