Meet Andre Farnier, this week’s top American Watercolor Weekly Ambassador!

“The vital drop by drop” (watercolor, 40 x 50 cm)
Created for a contest on global warming, this watercolor was selected for an Exhibition in Albania, and in South Africa, and appeared in the practical art magazine FRANCE.

Child on school benches already
He was scribbling on a rough sheet
Some drawings, landing there
Straight out of his inspiration …

Now the child grows, so do their little feet
He propelled himself through life
His art is really defined
Carrying it endlessly …

“LE RU D’ABBY” (watercolor, 40 x 50 cm)
Created in a competition between Facebook friends, where we each made our own interpretation of the same photo will be published in the international magazine, Art De L’aquarelle.

Always looking for discoveries
For in watercolor, with a quick gesture
Painting a nature scene
Or the old wall of a hovel …

It captures the shadows and the light
He puts them in color
With his flexible hand the light soul
In the expression of his mind …

“ESCAPE THOUGHT” (watercolor, 40 x 40 cm.)
I made this watercolor from a royalty-free photo. I was drawn to the challenge presented by the complexity of the image.
