“River Hill at Dusk”: One September evening we took the backroads trail to the river hill overlook just to catch the last of the light as it fell on the Peace River, a glimmer in the distance. Home is moments like this.

Living in northern Canada, artist Angela Fehr discovered watercolor as a teenager, and over the past 20 years has developed a loose and fluid style that is based in a love of colour and the movement of water and paint. Since 2013, Angela has taught watercolor to thousands of students across the globe through online classes at learn.angelafehr.com and on Youtube.

“Autumn Tango”: When the leaves are blanketed by snow, we carry a memory of the vibrance of fall, perhaps slightly exaggerated, to keep our hearts warm in bleak seasons.

“Aflame on the Mountain”: The northern Rockies are a carpet of wildflowers in midsummer, and one can hike for hours, completely alone and surrounded by majestic beauty.
