Ambassador of the Week: Sid Bingham

Meet Sid Bingham, this week’s top American Watercolor Weekly Ambassador!

While watching the thoroughbreds early morning workout at Santa Anita Race Track, I was captivated with this view of guests looking forward to the days races.

While working with major companies throughout his career as an illustrator/designer, Sid has maintained his love for watercolor from his final year in Principia College thru his graduation from Art Center College of Design. There he taught watercolor, figure sketching and various other courses for over 18 years. Ever so grateful for this opportunity, years later he is still at it, painting in studio as well as wherever his travels take him, from local haunts to as far away as Turkey, Africa, and Europe.

My daughter and I were in Innsbruck, Austria checking out the castles in the area and of all things that resonated with me was the light on these bikes … finding something to work with. Go figure?
I saw this view while crossing the street in Milan making some natives rather unhappy as I took more time than expected taking a few shots… but what a great view!

Become an American Watercolor Ambassador for a chance to be featured in an upcoming issue!
