Winning Watercolors in West Virginia

The 2018 West Virginia Watercolor Society All-Member Exhibition  opened at the Randolph County Community Art Center in Elkins on Friday evening, Dec. 14 and will remain on display through Jan. 25, 2019.

Six paintings were recognized with awards by the exhibition judge, Laurie Goldstein-Warren.

 

Best of Show: John Coffey, “On the Road to John O’Groats”

 

Award of Excellence: Linda Elmer, “Color Block: NYC”

 

Award of Merit: F. Dennis Clarke, “Landscaping Company”

 

Honorable Mention: Katherine Crim, “Cheek to Cheek”

 

Honorable Mention: Deborah Lester, “New Orleans”

 

Jean Whistler Call Memorial Award: Sandra Pealer, “Garlic Harvest”
