Meet Lynda Feierabendthis week’s top American Watercolor Weekly Ambassador!

One morning I went outside and saw these Cedar Waxings covering a berry tree and I grabbed my camera and I was so glad because they were gone in minutes and so were the berries.

I’m a native of Houston, Texas and after retirement as a Master Stylist and salon owner, I took up watercolor. I took lesson from Sue Archer in Boone N.C and from Susan Bourdet in Springfield, Oregon, where my love for painting wildlife, pets, birds and nature began. I also studied photography and photographed my love of nature from all of my travels to paint.

I took the reference photo for this piece while cruising Alaska. I fell in love with these little otters and I had to paint them.
