The city of St George, Utah, bought “Pansy ” (watercolor) last spring. It took First place in watercolor at the St George Arts Festival.

Except for a two year stay in Georgia, Rebecca has spent her life in Utah. Starting Brigham Young University as a history major it soon became apparent that art was a greater love. Rebecca taught art for three years before she married and began her family. She has been in many group and one man shows. Her latest was this Spring in the Utah Watercolor Society Signature Show, where she took Best of Show. She loves to paint historical subjects along with flower gardens and still life.

“Salt Lake City 1950s” (watercolor) is one of my historical studies.
“Almonds and Glass” is one of 31 paintings I did in January for the Strada Easel 31 Day Challenge.

Become an American Watercolor Ambassador for a chance to be featured in an upcoming issue!
