“On my annual painting trip to Maine last year, I stayed at a small cabin on the water,” says Deborah Chabrian. “On the first day, I walked out the door onto the tiny but perfect porch, and was struck by the amazing view of Frenchman’s Bay with Mount Desert Island in the distance. I set up right then and there, and began to paint. I spent several mornings in that spot (with coffee in hand), and honestly several evenings as well (with wine in hand) as I could not drink in enough of the view … it screamed paint me!”
