The North East Watercolor Society recently celebrated their 48th Annual International Juried Exhibition. Amongst a bevy of political flyers, I was thrilled to find the show catalog in my mailbox this weekend. As the country heads to the polls today, I thought we could all use a minute to step back and enjoy some beauty, to celebrate the hard work these artists have put into their craft, and to appreciate the variety of effects watercolor can create. A love for the medium is something on which we can all agree!
